Julie & Tim in Rondebosch

These high school sweethearts tied the knot in their family church and had their evening reception in the garden of dear friends. Tim and the guys got ready at his family home, along with his beloved dog, and they had plenty of jokes and banter between them. What a riot! Tim had the biggest smile for the whole day, like the cat that’s got the cream. Julie was such a graceful and sweet bride, spending a leisurely morning with her girls in a beautiful old Victorian manor house. After their ceremony at Christchurch Kenilworth the newly weds and guests enjoyed tea and cake in the church gardens. For their bridal party portraits we went to Rondebosch common in the late afternoon. It was a stunning evening – striking golden light in the grass and moody mountain scenery around them. We absolutely loved the dramatic lighting that illuminated them and contrasted from the shady foliage around them. For their garden-party reception lights were strung, candles were lit, and picnic blankets were adorned with cheerful jars of flowers and baskets of delicious food – ready for a delightful evening of celebrations!
